Sushma Swaraj's husband's response to a tweet shows he is as witty as his wife

New Delhi: It turns out that former governor of Mizoram Swaraj Kaushal is as witty as his wife – External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who has often stolen the hearts of twitterati with her humour.

Being the most popular minister of the Bharatiya Janata Party government on Twitter, Sushma Swaraj has often been seen addressing problems of public through Twitter and also answers some bizarre questions with much humour.

However, Twitter on Sunday saw a different trend as her husband Kaushal responded to a tweet addressed to Sushma Swaraj, leaving the social media users awestruck.

A Twitter user, Shishir Nayak, tweeted to the minister, asking “@SushmaSwaraj ji, @governorswaraj is following you on Twitter but you don’t follow him, Can I ask why with all respect?”

Then came Kaushal’s response, which was not just witty but also adorable. “I have followed her for 45 years – Can’t change things now,” he replied. And, admiration for the couple started pouring in soon after.

Earlier, Sushma Swaraj had shared a cheerful picture of her and her husband Twitter after they bumped into each other in Parliament complex after “many years. Even before that, in July, she had shared an old picture of them on their wedding anniversary.
