K C Abu and V T Balram spat continues unabated

On Tuesday, Mr Abu added that Mr Balram should make it clear who were the leaders in the state Congress that he had targeted.

KOZHIKODE: The war-of-words between Congress leaders, V.T Balram, MLA, and DCC president K.C. Abu continues unabated. On Tuesday, Mr Abu told reporters that no egg would hatch if kept in the cupboard; lying on it was necessary. This cryptic comment was in response to the young MLA’s earlier observation that an egg would not remain for infinity but would hatch at an appropriate time. The slugfest began when Mr Balram said at a KSU meeting that Congress leaders above the age of 75 should make way for the young generation.

Mr Abu had responded that Mr Balram had all the luck even before coming out of the egg, in a reference to his young age and opportunities received by the sitting MLA from Thrithala. On Tuesday, Mr Abu added that Mr Balram should make it clear who were the leaders in the state Congress that he had targeted. He added, “He has put on a good show by winning his Thrithala seat twice. But it should be remembered that Thrithala was not a red bastion and Mr Balram a savior who had wrested the seat.”
