Chennai: Plus-2 revaluation to begin this week
Chennai: The Directorate of Government Examinations is planning to start the
plus-2 answer sheets revaluation and re-totalling work this week.
Of 8.3 lakh students who wrote plus-2 exams this year, more than 90,000 students had applied for the copy of the plus-2 answer scripts.
This year centums in physics and maths subjects were on the decline. But, number of centums in chemistry was more than doubled.
The scanned copies of answer sheets were uploaded on the website on June 1.
Students applied for revaluation and retotalling on June 3 and 4.
“We are yet to receive the details of the number of students who have applied for revaluation and retotalling. After receiving details we will start the work this week itself,” DGE officials said. The revaluation works should be concluded before the releasing the MBBS rank list. MBBS rank list is scheduled to be released on June 17.
