Telangana government eases office timing for month of Ramzan

Hyderabad: The Government of Telangana state has issued a circular allowing all the government employees of the state belonging to the Muslim community working in the government offices to leave the offices/schools at 4 pm during the month of Ramzan.

The General Administration Department also issued a circular of Chief Secretary Dr Shailendra Kumar Joshi in this connection. This relaxation will be extended to the all government employees, teachers, and contract and outsourcing employees working in the government offices from May 7 to June 4 to perform necessary rituals, however, they have to attend the office when their presence is required due to exigencies of services during the above period, the circular says.
