Mumbai: A 21-year-old sailor on board the Navy's INS Talwar who was found with severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby naval hospital on Saturday was declared dead by authorities there, a statement from the Navy said.
Rahul Choudhary was working in a restricted area on INS Talwar which was docked at the Western Naval Command's base here, it said.
He was found on the floor with severe injuries by fellow sailors on Saturday, it said, adding that an inquiry had been instituted into the incident.
