City schools excel in CBSE Class X exam

Most schools recorded 100 percent pass.

Thiruvananthapuram: Most of the schools in the city recorded 100 per cent pass in the CBSE Class X exams, results of which came on Monday.

Cordova Senior Secon-dary School, Ambalath-ara: 52 per cent got distinction and 38 per cent first class. Mohammed S. is the topper with 93 per cent.

Francis Sales Senior Secondary School Venga-noor, Vizhinjam: 91 of the 129 pupils got a distinction. Bhavya A. S. with 98.7 per cent was the top scorer.

Amrita Vidyalayam Kaimanam: 76 per cent distinction. Toppers here are S. Abhilash and Arya Krishnan with 97.4 per cent marks.

Sai Krishna Public School, Chenkal, Near Neyyattinkara: All got high first classes, and 13 of them scored above 90 per cent in all subjects. The school created 27 distinctions and two students, Sidharth and Ancy got cent per cent marks in Mathematics.

Christ Nagar Central School: 12 got A1, 43 reached 90 per cent and 61 distinctions.

Army Public School Pangode: Out of 65 students who appeared for the exams 36 secured above 90 per cent. Adarsh Thandel is topper with 98.4 per cent.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Pattom: Out of 339 students appeared on both shifts, all passed. Toppers are Ashish C 98.60 per cent (first shift). Nira-njana SR 98.2 per cent (second shift). Out of 339 students, 121 scored more than 90% marks.

Dr G R Public School, Neyyattinkara: Abhijith A. S., who scored 493 /500 (98.6%) is the topper. As many 11 students got A1 in all subjects, 58 scored more than 90%, and 54 got a distinction. Nine students scored full marks in Social Science and 4 in Mathematics.

Kendriya Vidyalaya SAP Peroorkada: Out of 124 students appeared, 41 scored 90 per cent and above marks. Makal S. Nair is the topper with 98.2 per cent marks.

Viswabharathy Public School, Neyyattinkara: Toppers are Abin Rosh A M- 488/500 and Rohin S S - 488/500. A1 in all subject, 22, students appeared 291, secured 91% and above, 123, Distinction, 123, First Class 45.

Infant Jesus Central school, Pongumoodu: Total candidates: 30 Top Scorer - J.S. Abhiram Suresh - 97.2%. Sithara T. S., Gopika G., and Arya S. B. got more than 90 per cent marks.

Jyothis Central School, Kazhakuttom: 492 marks scored by Nandana S. Biju is the 8th National Rank. Aashna Mohsin scored 490 marks, which is the 10th National Rank.

Of the 118 students who sat for this year’s Class X exam, 22 were able to score a stunning 95% and above while 53 scored 90% and above, 102 bagged distinction, 14 first class and two second class. Five students scored 100 each in Social Science, three 100 each in Mathematics and one scored 100 in Science.

St Mary's Poojappura: Distinctions - 141, 90% and above - 72. School toppers - S.Revathy Sankar, 493/500 (98.6 %), Sooraj.S.J, 491/500 (98.2 %) and R. Nourin - 490/500 (98 %)

Anchal St. John’s School, Kollam: Out of 149 students, 12 scored A1 in all the subjects, 125 got distinction and 22 first class. Navneet Krishna and Haifa Shajahan who had scored 493 marks out of 500 became school toppers. Amal Noureen Sajith who scored 492 marks became the second topper. Twenty four social science students, three math students and a Malayalam student scored cent per cent.

Carmel School Peyad: 15 A1, 38 distinctions and 18 first classes.

The Oxford School, Mar Thoma Central School, Cherunniyoor, Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Nalanchira, School of Good Shepherd, Akkulam, Sri Sathya Sai English Medium School, Vellanad, Saraswathi Vidyalaya, Vattiyoorkavu, Sree Vivekananda Mem-orial Public School, Ara-lumoodu, Varkala Kann-amba Jyothis Bharati Public School, Holy Spirit School Poonkulam, Neh-ru Memorial School, Attu-puram, Kadakkal also got 100 per cent results.
