Ernakulam: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan made quick and elaborate arrangements to help the boy and the distressed family.
Ernakulam district collector Ahmed Safirullah led the officials in providing help in getting the boy to the government hospital, where the body was kept, and breaking the bad news to the kid.
The boy was taken in a police vehicle to the hospital. More than 500 parents waited patiently outside Nalanda school for almost 40 minutes after the exam ended at 1 pm as the officials took some time to locate Kasthuri and bring him out in a police vehicle. The boy looked confused and worried; he did not obviously know the bad news because he was not crying when the vehicle came out of the school. The news was broken to him only at the hospital
