Hyderabad: A 11-year-old boy went missing from his home in Rajendranagar on Friday. The boy was identified as S. Devidas.
Police said Devidas is the son of Srimanth, a resident of Shivarampally village under Rajendranagar police station. He was studying in Class VI at a nearby private school.
On Friday afternoon, while his parents were away from home, Devidas went out to play. In the evening after his parents returned home when they did not find him they thought he would return home after playing but he did not turn up by night.
The panicked parents searched in neighbouring residences and with his friends but in vain. Later on Saturday, they lodged a complaint with the police and a missing case was registered. Police said they have started a probe and are working on clues.
