Visakhapatnam Court Orders Alcohol Addicts to Perform Community Service

Visakhapatnam: The Bhimili Court has imposed a unique punishment on alcohol addicts. The court ordered 121 people, who were caught driving under the influence of alcohol, to perform community service.

The accused were produced before the 15th Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Vijayalakshmi, who slapped a fine of Rs. 1,000 each on them. Additionally, they were ordered to clean the surroundings of Coconut Park, St. Ann's High School, and Traffic Police Station on Beach Road.
