Delhi man held for duping job-seeker
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad cyber crime police arrested a man from New Delhi for duping a job-seeker from the city of Rs 48,000 on the pretext of getting her a job at RGI Airport.
The arrested accused was identified as Rahul, a native of New Delhi. “He contacted Pratima, a job-seeker from Hyderabad, and promised to get her a job at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. He charged her Rs 48,000 under different expenses, he said he would have to incur,” said the police inspector of cyber crime Hyderabad, Ravi Kiran.
Based on a complaint received from Pratima, a case was booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and an investigation was started, after which a team from Hyderabad was deputed to New Delhi to nab the scamster. “We have arrested him in New Delhi and will be bringing him to the city on transit warrant soon,” added inspector Kiran.
