Visakhapatnam: Botsa Satyanarayana, the education minister, lauded the district officials for the smooth conduct of Sri Paidithalli Ammavari Sirimanothsavam in Vizianagaram on Sunday.
The education minister said, “This year's Vizianagaram festival Sri Paidithalli Ammavari Sirimanothsavam was successful because the public representatives of Vizianagaram district and the authorities worked responsibly."
The minister stated that he has been monitoring this celebration for many years and that devotees and the general public have never been as many as this year. Botsa thanked the officials for making adequate preparations.
Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Deputy Speaker Kolagatla Veerabhadraswamy, ZP chairman Majji Srinivasa Rao, and collector S. Nagalaxmi honoured and handed over mementos to Sirimanothsavam district officials and lifetime members.
Botsa praised the performance of DWCRA Bazaar and Surabhi's plays on this occasion. He believes these are new attractions for this year. The minister complimented local public representatives and the municipal administration on their efforts to beautify Vizianagaram. He asked public representatives and officials to maintain the same level of coordination in implementing government projects in the coming days.
