These vehicles will be deployed all over the state. In addition, 18 fire stations across the state will also be inaugurated, taking the total number of fire stations to 139. Two new Disaster Response Force teams comprising 50 personnel each would also be inducted into the force tomorrow.
DG TS DFS Y Nagi Reddy said that to strengthen the Fire Services and provide better services to the People of Telangana, the state Government has sanctioned 18 new fire stations.
The new SRDF teams will add to the already existing teams which have already done exemplary work during the recent monsoon. “ These teams will continue to provide assistance during any calamities and its main aim will be to rescue the people during floods and other natural calamities,” he added.
