Be swadeshi, promote BSNL, says its CGM

Visakhapatnam: BSNL AP chief general manager (CGM) M. Seshachalam has requested everyone to use services extended by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the country's largest indigenous company in the telecom sector.

“Encourage BSNL, no matter how many private operators are available in the country. We assure the security of our services to our customers,” Seshachalam underlined.

The CGM is on a visit to Visakhapatnam. Speaking to media at the BSNL office on Thursday, he pointed out that BSNL is still continuing landline services for the benefit of elderly people at home.

Seshachalam disclosed that in AP, their earnings are ₹700 crore with 10 per cent profit.
