A walk at KBR Park is planned on Sunday morning (October 6) in support of the activists who have been detained.
Hyderabad: The Aarey Forest protest reached Hyderabad. Green warriors held a silent protest at KBR Park against the felling of trees in the Aarey forest in Mumbai.
Ms Kajal Maheshwari and team who put up a fight to conserve KBR Park, said, “Over 38 citizens have been arrested, 50 detained, when all of them merely tried to preserve environment. Around 2,600 trees have been murdered in Aarey. This is irreversible and unpardonable. We appeal to citizens in Hyderabad to come out and support all those who have been fighting to conserve trees.”
