CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran asks P Raju to explain remarks

The CPI state leadership has taken strong exception to the remarks and felt that Raju had crossed all limits.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran has sought explanation from Ernakulam district secretary P. Raju for making objectionable remarks against chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The CPI leader had made controversial remarks at a public meeting. He said the chief minister was surrounded by advisors who think only they lived in the state. "If one listens to their advice, then the state will surely be doomed. It is high time the chief minister intervened in the matter,” he said

Mr Raju even went to the extent of mocking Pinarayi. The chief minister develops fever from time to time. The CPI state leadership has taken strong exception to the remarks and felt that Raju had crossed all limits. The remarks were not only out of place but totally unwarranted. It is in this regard that the state leaders have directed the CPI district secretary to submit his explanation within one day itself .
