Only BJP can defeat corrupt TRS, says Ram Madhav
WARANGAL: The TRS government was running with “commission and corruption” as its primary objective, BJP general secretary Ram Madhav alleged here on Thursday. The people were feeling cheated and were waiting to dethrone the government. Addressing a public meeting at Kakatiya Degree College grounds as part of the ongoing Jana Chaitanya Yatra undertaken by BJP state president K. Laxman here, Mr Madhav said the BJP would come to power in the state as no other party had the strength to defeat the TRS.
He said TS was ranked the second most corrupt state, with literacy and skilled manpower taking a back seat. He recalled how the Sircilla municipal chairperson had said taking commissions was the order of the day. Earlier, speaking at Parkal, Union minister Suresh Prabhu said even after securing separate state, the people continued to face the same problems as during the Nizam rule. The Centre had taken special initiatives to help the farming community, he said.
