It was in March that free Wi-Fi facility was made available on the secretariat premises as part of the digital initiatives of the state government. Up to 30 minutes’ free Wi-Fi service could be availed of on a mobile device by the public every day.

Though the facility was launched to help those turning up at the secretariat for various purposes every day, a good number of secretariat employees were also learnt to be using it.
