Kannur: The engine and a coach of Kannur Alappuzha Executive Express derailed near Kannur railway station on Tuesday early morning during shunting. The incident occurred around 4.15 am neat Talapp-Irattakkannan Bridge. The loco pilot was injured in the accident while the guard escaped unhurt.
