Hyderabad: A retired sub inspector was killed in an accident near the Outer Ring Road in Keesara on Tuesday morning. The deceased was identified as Nayini Narsimha Rao 62.
According to Keesara Police, Narsimha Rao, a resident of Lalapet, had retired as a sub inspector from Kacheguda police station.
On Tuesday morning, he went to visit his farm located at Chikatimamidi village in Yadadri district and after completing his work, was returning home on his bike. When he reached near the ORR at Keesara, an unidentified vehicle hit his bike and he was flung off.
Passers-by saw him lying on the road and alerted the ambulance service. The 108 ambulance staff rushed to the spot and declared him dead.
Meanwhile, they also collected cash and a gold chain from him and later handed them over to his parents.
