VIJAYAWADA: AP BJP chief Somu Veerraju on Thursday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as an able leader who has made India a great nation in the world.
Addressing party leaders and workers on occasion of the 43rd BJP Foundation Day here on Thursday, Veerraju underlined that India has become a role model for other nations in several fields, be it in supplying Coronavirus vaccine to 120 nations or making available several Ayurvedic preparations to the global community for treating various ailments.
The senior leader pointed out that BJP is the largest political party in the world, is in power in 18 states of India and is providing corruption-free governance.
On the occasion, several YSR Congress workers from Kruthivennu mandal in Pedana assembly segment joined the BJP in presence of Veerraju. He welcomed them into the party by felicitating them with a shawl.
