Karimnagar: Officials, in coor dination with public representatives, must strive for all round development of Warangal West assembly constituency. They should complete all scheduled developmental works within one year, MLA and government chief whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar underlined on Thursday.
Chairing a review meeting with officials of various departments in Hanamkonda district, he underlined that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and IT minister K.T. Rama Rao are sanctioning funds for development of Hanamkonda city.
“It is minimum responsibility of officials to transform Hanamkonda into a beautiful city,” the government whip declared. He regretted that earlier too, a meeting was held regarding completion of developmental works. But there was no proper response from officials concerned, except officials of electricity and revenue departments.
In this context, Vinay Bhaskar underlined that officials must visit every ward, inquire about pending developmental works and complete them within one year. Otherwise, action will be taken for negligence of duties, he warned.
City mayor Gundu Sudha Rani and Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation commissioner Praveenya were among those present at the review meeting.
