Facelift for tourist spots in Adilabad, Nirmal and Kumaram Bheem districts

Hyderabad: Kuntala waterfalls, Pochera waterfalls, Shamgarh and Bathisgarh forts and other major tourist spots in Adilabad, Nirmal and Kumaram Bheem districts will soon get a facelift.

The state government has prepared a comprehensive district tourism development plan for development of tourist facilities in Adilabad, Nirmal, Mancherial and Kumaram Bheem Asifabad districts.

Projects to be developed include Pochera waterfalls, Kuntala waterfalls in Adilabad district, rural tourism project Shamgarh Fort, Bathisgarh Fort, Kadem, sound and light show at Basar in Nirmal district, Jannaram in Mancherial district, Kumaram Bheem memorial project at Jodeghat, Kumaram Bheem district, minister for Scheduled Tribes development, Tourism and Culture, Ajmeera Chandulal informed Puranam Satish Kumar in the Legislative Council on Thursday.
