Kurnool: Telugu Desam leader Dr. B.V. Jayanageswara Reddy, a former MLA, has accused Yemmiganuru MLA Y. Chennakesava Reddy of diverting water from the LLC Canal to his personal fields. This action has resulted in extensive crop loss across thousands of acres in the region, the TD leader said.
Jayanageswara Reddy expressed his dissatisfaction with the apparent lack of concern for drought conditions in the state and raised questions about the ruling party's commitment to addressing the concerns of the people and providing essential resources.
He criticised MLA Chennakesava Reddy for allegedly rerouting canal water and emphasized the government's negligence in addressing the issue of crop damage due to delayed water supply.
Jayanageswara Reddy further lamented that the state government has not effectively tackled the challenges faced by the farming community.
