Create conducive atmosphere for self-financing colleges: Francis George

Kottayam: Janadhipathya Kerala Congress chief Francis George on Tuesday urged the government to create an atmosphere for the self-financing college institutions to function based on the principles of social justice. He alleged that the Kerala Congress (M) was now groping in the dark without a clear political stand after leaving the UDF.

He said its leader K.M. Mani had given the ‘corruption free governance’ dream of the party a go-by. His party is holding its state meeting on October 7 in Kottayam and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will be attending its Karshaka Sangamam on the Thirunakkara ground the next day.
