Don't be over confident: CM Chandrababu Naidu to TD leaders
Vijayawada:Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday suggested publishing a yellow book on TD’s success in Nandyal bypoll and Kakinada Municipal Corporation elections. He said the book would be a navigator for future elections. Mr Naidu said the TD should always have an upper hand in public management, poll management and political management. He lauded leaders for exhibiting outstanding performance in Nandyal and KMC polls. He said the public gave a strong answer with one election, pointing to the YSRC.
After the inauguration of Centre for Leadership Excellence, a training camp, the Chief Minister said leaders should not have over confidence and every election is a lesson to leaders. He even mentioned about the necessity to analyse the pros and cons of results and accordingly, prepare future plans. The Chief Minister said he was not ready to take chances and winning is their ultimate goal. He reiterated that election is just a procedure and it should be a simple and easy task to complete, quoting “Nalleru pai Nadaka.” Mr Naidu suggested people to enthusiastically participate in Jalasiri Ki Harathi programme which is scheduled on September 6, 7 and 8 and mentioned about completing 28 projects in 3 months.
Mr Naidu expressed his confidence in attaining double digit growth rate even this year. He directed the leaders and cadre to actively participate in Intintiki Telugu Desam programme. He said confidence in public and investors had been restored and had effectively countered the false propaganda. There is need to prepare plans to win all seats in 2019 elections, and it should be unilateral, for which Nandyal and Kakinada elections results are the stepping stones, he said. The CM said public management should be done through development and welfare activities, while political management responsibility vests with the public representatives. Poll management is the key to every election which is to be handled with the utmost care and it depends on the efficiency of leaders and cadre, he added.
