The Director General of UP volunteered to demonstrate how a taser gun takes down an offender as his juniors seemed sceptical.

Lucknow: The Director General of Uttar Pradesh Police Javeed Ahmad on Sunday demonstrated how a taser gun can take down an offender. Leading his colleagues from the front, he volunteered to be the subject of the shot.
In a video proudly tweeted by the IPS Association, the top cop can be seen enduring a taser shot - which fires dart-like electrodes - as two men hold his hands to avoid a sudden fall. He's slowly taken down on the ground to remove the darts and helped to get back on his feet by his colleagues. In a conversation that follows a round of applause, he's seen bursting into laughter.
A taser gun is an electroshock weapon whose one shot causes neuromuscular incapacitation in the target resulting in temporary immobility.
