HYDERABAD: The regional office of the National Sample Survey Office conducted a ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ at Golconda fort on Monday as a part of Swachhta Pakhwada being celebrated nationwide from July 1 to July 15 by the Union statistics ministry.
Around 80 NSSO staff members undertook cleaning activities in the fort premises. The team was headed by D. Satish, deputy director-general, NSSO Hyderabad, who emphasised the importance of Swachhta.
Deputy director Shivaparvathi Reddy, assistant directors Sh Barkat Ali and R. Jayaram, and D. Bharat Raj, senior statistical officer, participated.
