Uniform Civil Code draft must be discussed: Abid Rasool Khan

Hyderabad: Minorities Commission chairman Abid Rasool Khan on Monday asked the Centre to put the draft copy of the Uniform Civil Code in public domain.
He said that Muslims may accept the code if there is a fair discussion on its draft and their issues are addressed.
Mr Khan stated that the religion was the most important factor in every community where it among Hindus, Muslims or members of any other faith.
“Let the government come out with a draft and place what it wants to do in public domain,” he said.
