Hyderabad: 3 days for Eamcet students to give options
Hyderabad: Eamcet rankers will exercise their web options to list their preferred colleges from 10 am on Tuesday. Candidates ranked 1 to 45,000 have been asked to exercise their web options from Tuesday till Thursday.
In all, 92,095 seats are available in colleges affiliated to JNTU, OU and KU in the 10 districts of the state.
The number of seats on offer in universities is 3040, while in Convenor quota, it is nearly 65,000. If only private colleges are considered, the availability of seats increases to nearly 89,000.
JNTU-Hyderabad had announced the availability of nearly 79,000 seats in 158 private colleges affiliated to it. This means colleges under OU and KU (government and private) make up the remaining 13,000 seats out of the total 92,000 odd seats available for 2016-17.
