KURNOOL: In a heart-wrenching incident in Indira Nagar, Kurnool, a woman named Padmavathi died by suicide after discovering that her fiancé had married another woman. Padmavathi was engaged to Vinod Kumar, a resident of Pathakota mandal in Nandyal district, on March 9 and their marriage was scheduled to take place on June 10. However, as the wedding arrangements were underway, Padmavathi's family learnt that Vinod Kumar had already married another woman. This left Padmavathi heartbroken and she resorted to the extreme step.
A case was registered and is being probed.
