One killed, three injured in bus accident in Palnadu
VIJAYAWADA: One person died and three others were injured when a private travel bus carrying about 50 passengers rammed a stationary lorry near Dachepalli of Palnadu district in the early hours of Sunday.
The deceased was Gaddam Gopi, 25, and the injured were Badeema, 24, Annapurna, 45, and Venkat Rao, 50, all from the Prakasam district.
Police said a private bus lost control and rammed into the lorry parked lorry on the highway. The police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Gurazala Government Hospital. Locals claimed the bus was seen being driven in a rash manner leading to the accident.
