TTD: Pilgrims' comfort top priority
Nellore: The success of the TTD temple administration, its strong work force and that of the volunteers lies in the satisfaction of the pilgrims, said TTD Executive Officer Dr D Samba Siva Rao. Addressing the Srivari Seva Volunteers in Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala on Wednesday, the TTD EO said, Srivari Seva is emerging as a strong supporting wing of TTD.
“The services of Srivari Sevakulu are being utilised in over 20 departments in TTD where the pilgrim interface is more. The success of the management lies in the duties of its employees and services of Srivari Seva volunteers. To enhance the quality of services we have invited a team of trainers from Sri Satya Sai Seva Organisation which is known for its service values to train the Srivari Seva volunteers for a period of six months from May to November,” the TTD EO maintained.
In his address, Sri Satyasai Seva Organisation state president S.G. Chalam said, Service knew no boundary. It is priceless and eternal. “All eyes on the volunteers where ever they are rendering services. So the volunteers should have patience and render services with utmost devotion, discipline and dedication,” he added.
Later Chief Security Officer Ravinder Reddy and Special Grade Deputy Executive Officer Smt Chenchulakshmi also spoke on the occasion. TTD PRO and Srivari Seva HoD Dr Ravi, in his presiding address, said the Srivari Seva volunteers henceforth will be trained in meditation, bhajan, every day both in the morning and in the evening at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala.
“The Sevakulu who are having services in the morning will undergo training in the evening session and vice versa,” he added. Assistant PRO Neelima rendered vote of thanks. Meanwhile over 3,000 Srivari Sevakulu hailing from various states took part in the programme.
