Thiruvananthapuram: The Cabinet decided to raise the ‘creamy layer' ceiling for OBC reservations from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh. The increase will be implemented with retrospective effect from the date of issuance of the GO.
Each member of Kerala football team which won Santosh Trophy will be given '2 lakh cash prize, government jobs for 11 players and Rs 1.5 lakh each member of Kerala Volleyball Team which won the national championship recently.
