PG medical aspirants stage protest in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: On the day one of the PG medical and dental document verification by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), hundreds of candidates held a protest demanding single admission counselling for all the PG Diploma medical and dental seats available at all the colleges irrespective of the management pattern.
According to the candidates, even though the Centre has implemented NEET and abolished multiple admission tests, private colleges and deemed universities were exploiting students by holding multiple counselling.
They urged the state government to hold talks with COMEDK and other college managements and ensure single admission counseling this year.
