BJP's fight against BRS helped Congress, says Kishan

Hyderabad: BJP state president and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy said that the party will review its performance and work with renewed vigour for the general elections in 2024.

Addressing media persons in Hyderabad on Monday, he said, “Even voters who told us they would vote for the BRS and the Congress categorically told us they would vote for the BJP in the Lok Sabha polls. We did not leave any stone unturned in the Assembly polls but failed to make a mark. The review will happen from the national level down to the booth level.”

“The BRS and the Congress dented our chances by making false allegations. Despite that we have been able to increase our vote share to 14 per cent. I congratulate our candidate K. Venkata Ramana Reddy who defeated KCR and Revanth Reddy,” Kishan Reddy said. “Our struggle against the BRS benefited the Congress. We will play the role of an effective opposition party and win the 2024 polls emphatically.”

Kishan Reddy met Goshamahal MLA-elect T. Raja Singh, who secured his third electoral victory. In a message released to the media, Raja Singh said, “Celebrating my hat-trick victory in Goshamahal, I had the honor of a visit from the Union Minister and BJP Telangana State president Kishan Reddy at my office.”

“He assigned me the responsibility of touring across Telangana State to secure a resounding victory for BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, he wrote in the message.
