Hyderabad: Google, the internet search giant, has changed the timings of the hours the Chilkur Balaji temple stays open. The changes, reflecting the correct timings of the open hours of the temple were made following a report in these columns on Wednesday how the temple authorities, and many of the temple devotees, had been trying for the past few months to get the correct temple timings reflected on Google search.
“The correct timings of the temple’s open hours, from 6 am to 1 pm, and again from 4 pm, to 6 pm, are now reflected in searches about the Chilkur temple, and we are thankful to Google for reflecting the correct times,” temple priest C.S. Rangarajan said.
