Re-installation of Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Idols Held on a Grand Note at Valmidi

WARANGAL: Minister T, Harish Rao said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was “a real Hindu” and a devout person which was why Telangana state was flourishing.

He said some parties which were enacting a drama by issuing ‘declarations’ did not know that the people had already declared their decision to make Chandrashekar Rao Chief Minister for the third time. The BJP had floated the idea of simultaneous polls despite which the BRS would win, he said.

Harish Rao was speaking at an event organised to re-install the idol of Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy at the Valmikipuram gutta temple of Valmidi village in Palakurthy constituency of Jangaon district on Monday.

The temple, coming up at a cost of Rs 25 crore, sits on 37 acres of land. Valmidi village is believed to be the birthplace of Valmiki Maharshi, the author of Ramayana.

He said said the credit of sanctioning Rs 4,000 pension for disabled persons went to Chandrashekar Rao. It was only after achieving enormous development that the BRS was asking for votes, while leaders of other parties were lying to seek votes. Development would lag if Chandrashekar Rao was not re-elected.

Ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Indrakaran Reddy and Satyavathi Rathod along with Harish Rao participated in the function, accompanied by Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy.

Later, foundation stones were laid for the construction of the bridge, developmental works at the temple, a tourism hotel, Girijana Bhavan and check dams. They also inaugurated Smrithi Vanam, Kalyana Mandapam and Mission Bhagiratha guest house in Palakurthy.
