Former Solicitor General of India Harish Salve gets married to Trina in London

Former Solicitor General of India and renowned lawyer Harish Salv, 68, married Trina in a private ceremony in London on Sunday. In a video made public, Salve was seen kissing Trina's forehead, while both of them were on the staircase.

This is third marriage for Salve. His first wife Meenakshi took divorce from him after 38 years of marriage in June 2020. Both of them have two daughters --- Sakshi and Saaniya. Then Salve married Caroline Brossard the same year.

The top advocate who practices at the Supreme Court of India had been part of some high-profile cases, including Kulbhushan Jadhav, who was sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on charges of spying.

It may be noted that Salve charged just Re1 for defending Kulbhushan Jadhav. Some other significant cases he fought included the Krishna Godavari Basin gas dispute and Salman Khan's hit-and-run case.

Salve had served as the Solicitor General of India from November 1999 to November 2002. He was appointed as the Queen's Counsel for the courts of Wales and England in January.

Prominent among those who attended the wedding included Nita Ambani, former IPL chairman Lalit Modi and his girlfriend Ujjwala Raut.
