YSRC launches Mission IT Army

VIJAYAWADA: AP’s ruling YSR Congress on Saturday launched its Mission IT Army at a major gathering of information technology professionals it organised at the Hi-Tech City in Hyderabad as part of its Meet and Greet Summit.

More than two thousand professionals from the IT sector and party sympathisers participated in the meeting organised by the YSRC IT wing president Suneel Kumar Reddy Posimreddy

Addressing the meeting, he underlined that the IT wing will act as a bridge between the party and IT professionals. The IT wing activists will visit rural areas and explain achievements of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, he stated.

Suneel Kumar said the IT wing has designed and developed a dedicated portal for the purpose. Party IT activists and sympathisers can log into this portal and register themselves as members of IT Army.

The IT wing president said they want to enrol at least 1 lakh IT professionals on the Mission IT Army platform. He said, “We will go to rural pockets, get in touch with rural engineering graduates and help them get excellent career guidance and better placements in the information technology sector.

Suneel Kumar Reddy maintained that the Adani Data Centre in Visakhapatnam will become a boon for development of the port city. This centre will alone provide 50,000 jobs, he disclosed.
