Jagadguru Panchacharya swamis visit camp office; hail KCR initiatives

HYDERABAD: Jagadguru Panchacharya Swamis - Chandrasekhara Sivacharya Maha Swami of Kashi, Siddalinga Shivacharya Mahaswamiji of Ujjaini and Chennasidda Rama Panditharaadya Sivacharya Maha Swami of Srisailam Peethams said here on Saturday that Telangana was developing across sectors, including agriculture, which ranks as a significant achievement of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

The Chief Minister had invited them to the CM’s camp office and performed special prayers on the occasion of Telangana dashabdi formation day celebrations.

Amidst chanting by vedic pandits, the jagadgurus blessed Rao and his wife by offering rudraksha and portraits.

Rao said that the country has plenty of natural resources such as water and electricity. However, even after 75 years of Independence, the agriculture sector remains neglected by successive governments. Hundreds of farmers are still facing issues due to lack of water and electricity for cultivation. The Chief Minister sought the swamis' support for making ‘Naya Bharat’.

The jagadgurus praised the Chief Minister for taking up pro-farmer and pro-people policies.

"It is a great effort to take the state towards all-round development. The government provides irrigation water for cultivating agriculture. The government gives top priority to agriculture and farmers welfare,” they said.

The three extended their support to the Chief Minister's mission to achieve Naya Bharat.
