The Tamil Nadu Congress Committee Charitable Trust will hand over a cheque of ₹1 crore to CM Palaniswami to bring back migrant workers

Tamil Nadu Congress Committee would donate Rs one crore to the government for enabling the return of migrant workers from the State, who are now stranded in several states due to the non-availability of transport facilities, according to TNCC President K S Alagiri.
In a statement on Monday, Alagiri, however, make it clear that the money should be spend only for arranging transport for the stranded migrant workers from Tamil Nadu and nothing else.
He regretted that the railways was demanding ticket fare from the employees to transport them back home.
