Bengaluru: Elaborate security arrangements have been made ahead of the second Test cricket match between India and Australia, starting here on Saturday.
Around 800 policemen apart from D-SWAT teams, bomb detection and disposal squads have been deployed at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Spectators are advised to reach the venue early as they can take note of the change in entry gates and to check tickets beforehand for the correct gate numbers to avoid confusion, the police said.
People will not be allowed to carry cigarettes, match-box, inflammable items or any explosive material. Also, apart from National Flag, no other flags like black flags including pamphlets are allowed along with food, beverages, water bottle and cans.
