Sri Nityananda Trayodasi festival celebrated at Hare Krishna Golden Temple

Hyderabad: The Hare Krishna Movement–Hyderabad (HKM-H) celebrated the Sri Nityananda Trayodashi festival on Friday evening at its Hare Krishna Golden Temple in Banjara Hills.

As part of the festival, Nitai Gauranga Ashtottara Kalasha Maha Abhishekam with 108 kalashas was performed with varieties of fruit juices, colourful flowers, panchamritam, panchagavyam, sugandha dravyas etc.

Later, the deities were adorned with new jewellery and dresses followed by Maha Aarati along with Sankirtana by devotees.

In the morning, a three-hour long Hari Nama Sankirtana was performed followed by offering of 108 varieties of special prasadams prepared by devotees. Many devotees participated in the Hari Nama Sankirtana and Pravachan with devotion and took prasadam.

Speaking on the occasion Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji, president of Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad, who holds an MTech from IIT-Chennai, said, “On this auspicious occasion, let's seek the causeless mercy of the Lord and progress nicely on the path of developing the love of Krishna." All the devotees were provided with facilities along with prasadam.
