Advocates urge Lokesh to abolish land titling Act

Kakinada: Advocates in Pithapuram met with Telugu Desam leader Nara Lokesh on Saturday to express their concerns about the Land Titling Act and to seek its abolition. They argued that the Act contradicts the principles of natural justice and removes the possibility of judicial review in civil courts. Additionally, they requested Lokesh to increase the number of personnel in the courts to expedite the delivery of justice and to introduce advocate protection laws if the TD party comes to power.

Lokesh assured the advocates that a TD government would abolish the Land Titling Act 2023.
