Karnataka Governor visits Udupi\'s famous Mookambika Temple

The Governor was accompanied by Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat

Udupi: Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot visited Udupi Sri Krishna Matha and Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple today.

In the morning, the Governor arrived at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha. He was accompanied by Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat.Udupi Sri Krishna Matha

He had darshan of Sri Krishna and received mantrakshate from Sri Eesha Priya Teertha Swamiji of Paryaya Adamaru Matha.

Later he visited Kollur Sri Mookambia Temple.

The Kollur Temple hereditary archaks, MLA Sudhakar Shetty and temple officials gave him a traditional welcome and escorted him to the temple.

The Governor offered special prayers and Pooja at the temple and offered Ghee Lamp.

He offered pooja at Sri Veerabhadra Swami Temple, situated in the Mookambika temple premises.

He also witnessed the Golden Chariot of the temple.
