ESI scam: Omni medical rep house raided
Hyderabad: Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) probing the scam in the Employees State Insurance (ESI) wing conducted raids at the house of Omni Medi Company representative Ch. Siva Nagaraju here on Wednesday and seized important documents.
It is learnt that officials found original purchase orders and other documents related to indents worth crores of rupees from the residence of Nagaraju. These key documents were supposed to be present at the office of Insurance Medical Services (IMS) department Director Ch. Devika Rani.
The ACB has already arrested eight persons including Rani, Nagaraju and Omni Medi Company managing director K. Srihari Babu last week. The arrested persons have been lodged in Chanchalguda prison.
The ACB conducted simultaneous searches at 23 places at the houses and offices of 17 government officials and four private persons in Hyderabad and Warangal before arresting Rani and others.
