Vijayawada: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has sanctioned ₹1 lakh for treatment of a two-and-a-half-year-old Narayana Nikhil with multiple disabilities.
The CM met Nikhil while returning from the wedding of Deputy CM Budi Mutyala Naidu's son at a convention centre in the city. Former ministers and local legislators informed Jagan Mohan Reddy that Nikhil, son of Baipilla Ramesh and Lakshmi Padma of Bhavanipuram in Kothapet area of the city, is suffering from several health problems.
Listening to the boy’s plight, the Chief Minister directed district collector S. Dilli Rao to provide financial assistance to Narayana Nikhil for medical services. Following this, the collector presented the check of ₹1 lakh to parents of Nikhil.
