Hyderabad: The Union ministry of health and family welfare felicitated Telangana as the state with the highest number of deceased donors during the 13th Indian Organ Donation Day.
Health minister T. Harish Rao expressed his joy on Twitter, announcing the achievement. He tweeted: "Extremely delighted to share that Telangana is being awarded as the 'State with the highest number of Deceased Donors' by GoI @MoHFW_INDIA at the 13th IODD on 3rd August 2023. Telangana yet again stands as a role model to the Nation. Be an Organ Donor and Save lives."
