TIRUPATI: Prof. Dr. Bindu Menon, a prominent consultant Neurologist at Apollo Speciality Hospitals in Nellore, was honoured with the National Indian Medical Association (IMA) Doctors Day Award 2023 for her medical achievements
Devusinh Jesingbhai Chauhan, minister of state for communications, along with Dr Sharad Agarwal, the national president of IMA, presented the award to Dr Menon in New Delhi on Doctors Day. Among the four lakh doctors associated with IMA, Dr Menon was one of the 26 doctors recognized for their dedication and commitment to improving healthcare and inspiring others.
Dr Menon expressed her happiness and gratitude towards the IMA and Dr G. Ashok and Dr Phanidhar, who played crucial roles in recommending her for the award. She also recently received the Indian Women Scientists' Association Achiever Award at the golden jubilee celebrations in Mumbai.
