KOZHIKODE:  Nucore, a startup company started by a few National Institute of Technology- Calicut students 15 years ago has now become one of the talked about companies with offices in Qatar, Dubai and Riyadh in a short span of time. After working in different parts of the world, Nucore is excited over coming back to their homeland and start up a branch at Kozhikode. On Friday the company signed a MoU with UL Cyber Park and is all ready to employ 120 people in its first phase. Excited about coming back to the homeland, Suhail VP, the company Managing Director and also the CEO said, “Out of the three promoters of Nucore, that includes me, passed out from the Masters in Computer Application 2002 batch from NIT-C”.

“Nucore was indeed a dream come true and we started our venture at a time when there was no helping hand. All that we have gained in all these years is because of the hard work and dedication put in by a bunch of people around us. With zero experience in building any business solutions, we have grown from a 5-member team to 80 professionals (including software engineers, business analysts, subject matter experts) from reputed educational institutions in Kerala.  The majority of  employees are from Kozhikode and surroundings.  The Nucore team said that the city had a lot of potential to grow and would gradually witness a big boom in the IT sector at Kozhikode.
